Girls basketball: Prairie 64, Mountain View 28

Meri Dunford scored 19 points and Dayna Vera added 15 as Prairie clinched the 3A Greater St. Helens League championship.

After Wednesday’s league finale vs. Hudson’s Bay, the Falcons will receive a first-round bye in the 3A bi-district and host a quarterfinal game on Feb. 14.

Claire Heitschmidt scored 13 points as Prairie jumped out to a 39-13 halftime lead.

Sara Ostergaard-Jeppesen led Mountain View with nine points.
