Girls basketball: Prairie 60, Hudson’s Bay 45

The Falcons had four players score in double figures in a balanced scoring attack to finish the 3A Greater St. Helens League at 10-0.

Dayna Vera led Prairie with 19 points, Claire Heitschmidt had 16 points, Alli Corral had 12 points and seven assists, and Meri Dunford had 11 points and nine rebounds. Corral surpassed 350 career assists.

The Falcons defense was also solid, holding Hudson’s Bay to 18 first-half points.

Kamelai Powell led the Eagles in scoring with 17 points, and Jaydia Martin had 12.
