Girls basketball: Kentwood 52, Camas 47

The Papermakers will play for seventh place at the 4A bi-district tournament after losing to Kentwood in the game at Stadium High School.

Camas (15-10) led 23-18 at halftime and led by as many as nine points in the third quarter.

Kentwood (18-7) used a 16-8 fourth quarter advantage, while Camas went cold and couldn’t convert from the free-throw line, to clinch the victory.

Camas’ Faith Bergstrom led all scorers with 25 points and also had six rebounds.
