Boys basketball: Washougal 67, Hockinson 43

Jakob Davis had 18 points and 15 rebounds as the Panthers stayed unbeaten in 2A Greater St. Helens League play with a comfortable home win.

Washougal (8-3, 4-0) led from the start after Brevan Bea scored on a breakaway lay-up after the opening tip.

“There was no looking back from that pointt,” said Washougal coach AJ Labree. “From a coaching standpoint, I was really pleased with how we played.”

Micah Paulson scored 11 points and Dakota Souders added 10 for Hockinson (4-8, 1-3).
