Addie Chappelle scored 23 points to lead the short-handed Hawks to a 2A Greater St. Helens League home win.

Gracie Brammer and Kylie Ritter, Hockinson’s top two scorers, missed the game due to injury. But Chappelle picked up the scoring load along with nine rebounds and five steals.

“Her defense gave her her offense,” Hockinson coach Damon Roche said. “She was getting steals and picking off their point guard.”

Hockinson (8-6, 2-4) controlled the boards with Lilly Leslie grabbing 10 rebounds.
