Clark County sheriff’s deputies are searching for a man suspected of robbing a bank inside a Salmon Creek grocery store on Wednesday.

The man walked into the Alaska USA Federal Credit Union in Albertsons, 14300 N.E. 20th Ave., around 4:40 p.m. and “presented a demand note to the teller,” according to a news release from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, and the man fled, the sheriff’s office said.

Deputies described the suspect as a white man between 20 and 30 years old of average height and build, with a black goatee-style beard. He was wearing a green rain coat, dark-colored pants, a baseball cap and black and white shoes.

Anyone with information about the robbery should contact Detective Rick Osborne at 564-397-2211 extension 3354 or Rick.Osborne@clark.wa.gov.
