Wendy Marvin, the CEO and founder of Vancouver-based Matrix Roofing and Home Solutions, recently received the Western States Roofing Contractors Association’s Board Member of the Year Award. She was recognized for her service to the association and “dedication to improving the roofing industry,” a news release said. Marvin started Matrix Roofing and Home Solutions in 2007 and is one of a few woman-owned general contractors in Clark County. Find out more at www.matrixroof.com.

Allie Magyar, founder and CEO of Vancouver tech company Hubb, was recently named one of the Top 50 Virtual Meetings & Events Innovators by Eventex Connect, an online trade show. The list includes those from some of the biggest companies in the industry, such as Zoom. Hubb, located at 1012 Washington St., specializes in event planning software. Learn more at hubb.me.
