Vancouver offers grants for COVID-19 programs

The city of Vancouver is offering grants of up to $25,000 for public service programs responding to COVID-19.

The funds, available through the Community Development Block Grant program, will go to organizations responding to housing, health or economic impacts of the coronavirus. Both new and existing public service organizations are eligible.

The city has approximately $225,000 available for the program, with awards scheduled for no later than August. An online informational session for applicants will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, with information about how to access the session scheduled to be posted at www.cityofvancouver.us/cdbg in advance.

Applications must be submitted online at the same webpage no later than 3 p.m. on July 22.
