AIRPORT GREEN — Local real estate agency Windermere Stellar, the regional office of the nationwide Windermere Real Estate group, announced that it donated $208,094 to seven local charities that support low-income children and families. Of that, $197,500 will specifically benefit the Children’s Justice Center, a Clark County organization focused on helping victims of child abuse. The funds are donated through the Windermere Foundation. “Working with organizations like the Children’s Justice Center is just one way that Windermere is able to lend a helping hand to those who need it the most in our community,” Gerry Dowdy Latshaw, broker at Windermere Stellar, said in a news release. Windermere Real Estate brokers donate a portion of every commission to the foundation for every home bought or sold through Windermere. According to the news release, they have raised more than $40 million in donations. For more information, visit windermerevancouver.com.
