Letter: Trump brings out worst of America

I am convinced now that the acronym MAGA actually means “Mostly a Gullible Assembly.” These people will believe anything their Liar in Chief tells them.

Trump is now trying to characterize the horrifying statistic of 1.5 million Americans that have contracted the virus and the more than 90,000 deaths as a good thing. Trump calls these heartbreaking statistics “a badge of honor.” The shear stupidity of this statement cannot be measured. What this statement does do is prove that Trump has absolutely no concern for the well-being of this country, and that includes his loyal fans.

The sad part of this is that Trump has squandered an opportunity to truly transform the Washington political scene by being an outsider. Instead Trump has brought out the very worst of America and put it on display for the world to see.
