Letter: Trump claims are unrealistic

President Trump says the election was “rigged, a hoax, illegal.” It must be true because he says so. He’s been saying this since 2016. How did he know then? Was he aware of the actions of Russia before votes were cast? How could it have been wrong four years ago, since he won?

Why is it that only a handful of states that voted for Biden, or for that matter just a few counties in some of those states, have rigged election results? Could it be that the Republicans tried to rig the election results in all 50 states but were only successful in some? Were they trying to achieve 100 percent of the popular vote and 538 Electoral College votes for Trump? But failed.

And come to think of it why aren’t the results in red states being challenged in the courts? Why is it only the blue states? There must be a conspiracy here somewhere, because the president says so, and he would know because he’s a genius. Maybe Rudy will be able to explain this to us at another frantic, nonsensical, sweat-induced press conference in a parking lot, or at a crematorium, or pornography store after he re-dyes his hair.
