EDMONDS — A search was underway in Edmonds after three people were shot at a market on Highway 99.

Two women and a man were shot just before 4 p.m. at the Boo Han market, according to Edmonds police spokesperson, Sgt. Josh McClure.

He said two of the victims were taken to Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center and the third was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett, The Seattle Times reported.

One of the women was shot in the face, and the other has a broken arm; the man was shot multiple times in his “lower extremities,” McClure said. They were found in the entry area of the market.

The woman who was shot in the face said the suspect is “either her ex or estranged husband,” McClure said.

She also told police all four people involved in the incident knew each other, he said.

Highway 99 was closed between 220th and 236th Streets Southwest as police searched for a suspect described as a short man wearing black clothing and a black hat and who is possibly on foot.
