Update: Matthew A. McTimpeny was found early Friday morning and returned home.

The Vancouver Police Department is seeking the public’s help in finding a missing 11-year-old boy who was last seen today at his residence.

Matthew A. McTimpeny was also reported missing Wednesday and later located and returned home safe, according to an early-morning news release from the police department.

He is described as white, standing 5-feet-4-inches tall and weighing about 110 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, police said.

It is unknown what Matthew was last wearing; however, he had a bright blue backpack, according to police.

Matthew has no known medical concerns, police said, and there is no foul play suspected.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call 911.
