A truck hit some power lines in Battle Ground on Wednesday, knocking them down and causing a power outage.

The outage affected about 3,000 customers and lasted from 11:30 a.m. to noon, according to Clark Public Utilities spokesman Dameon Pesanti.

Videos posted online showed power lines sparking and making sapping noises, but Pesanti was unaware of any injuries.
