Letter: Herrera Beutler puts party first

By Chris Tobkin, Vancouver
Published: December 2, 2021, 6:00am

My representative, Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Battle Ground, should hang her head in shame for voting against the infrastructure bill. Her only excuse is that opposing Democrats is more important than helping the people of her district and the rest of Washington. Would she have voted in support of the bill had it been introduced by Republicans? Most assuredly. Party before people every time.

Just shameful, Jaime.
