Raptors Road Trip: Bellingham 3, Ridgefield 1

The Raptors dropped their second game in a row, losing to the Bells on Friday in the opener of a three-game West Coast League series at Bellingham. After a big offensive series at Port Angeles, the Raptors were held to a modest six hits and scored their only run in the fourth inning.

KEY MOMENTS: The Bells’ designated hitter Cole Hinkelman hit a two-run home run in the first inning and Bellingham held the lead wire-to-wire.

KEY PLAYERS: Raptors first baseman Coby Morales extended his hit streak to 10 games, going 2 for 4 with a solo home run, his sixth homer of the season. He is hitting .356 with 35 RBI in 37 games played.

NEXT GAME: Ridgefield (20-14 overall, 7-3 second half) at Bellingham (17-20, 6-7), 6:35 p.m. Saturday at Joe Martin Stadium.
