The Bellingham Bells used a four-run eighth inning to pull ahead Sunday and hand the Ridgefield Raptors their fourth consecutive West Coast League defeat. Ridgefield led 6-2 going into the sixth inning when Bellingham started to chip away. The Bells score one run in the sixth and seventh before their big eighth inning.
KEY MOMENTS: In the bottom of the eighth, two RBI doubles and a two-run single put the Bells ahead, 8-6.
KEY PLAYERS: Bellingham’s DH Bennett Lee (Tulane) went 3 for 4 with three RBI and the key two-run single. … Ridgefield rightfielder Caden Connor (CS Fullerton) was 2 for 3 with two doubles and two RBI. … Raptors first baseman Coby Morales (Cypress College) was 2 for 3 with two RBI and extended his hitting streak to 12 games.
