Vancouver police respond to robbery at U.S. Bank branch

A U.S. Bank branch in central Vancouver was robbed Friday afternoon, according to emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian.

Police were dispatched shortly before 4 p.m. to the reported robbery at 7003 N.E. 40th St.

The robber made off with bait money and dropped the tracker at the business, according to radio traffic. He fled on foot.

He was described as a white male in his 20s, wearing all black and a black ski mask. He may be associated with a Honda Accord that was last seen traveling south on Northeast Andresen Road, according to radio traffic.
