Letter: Something is wrong with Benton

What is it with Don Benton? Can’t he find a normal job like the rest of us or does he have to make his living on the backs of Clark County taxpayers? When he was aligned with Madore and Mielke as part of the M&M boys, all he did was complain and sue when he didn’t get his way. Oh and by the way, I will openly oppose him for any office that he runs for in the future.

As for my second comment, this is aimed at that lady who so graciously told those who have no way of defending themselves to get a job (“Get a job you lazy bums,” Our Readers’ Views, April 28): Why don’t you go to one of these homeless encampments and offer to take some of these folks home with you? Let them take a bath; get cleaned up, buy them some clean clothes so that when they apply for work at least they will have a chance of getting employed. May I assume that from what you said in your letter that you have all of the necessities you need? So instead of degrading, why don’t you do the Christian thing and offer a helping hand. Remember that is what Jesus did.
