Nominations open for Battle Ground Citizen of the Year

Battle Ground’s Citizen of the Year Committee is seeking nominations for its 2021 award.

The committee says this has been another unusual year, making it difficult to see all the good works happening in the community. Instead, the committee is relying on residents to help identify individuals to be recognized and celebrated for their work in the community.

Battle Ground Citizen of the Year is a time-honored tradition, and recipients receive recognition in many ways, from riding in the annual Harvest Days Parade to having a rose ceremonially planted in their honor by the Royal Rosarians of Portland.

Individuals, couples or groups may be nominated. To submit a nomination, go to www.tinyurl.com/22y7dhn8 for a nomination form.

Nominations will be accepted until Dec. 31. For more information, go to Facebook.com/BattleGroundCitizenOfTheYear.
