Nominees for Week 6 Northwest Personal Training prep athlete of the week

Voting continues through 7 p.m. Thursday

Here are the nominees for the Northwest Personal Training Week 6 high school athlete of the week.

Voting will continue until 7 p.m. Thursday, with results announced in Friday’s edition of The Columbian.

Winners of the athlete-of-the-week may not be nominated again during the regular season, and no athlete may be nominated in consecutive weeks.

To avoid vote manipulation, voters must provide an email address. Votes are limited to one per day per email address.

Here are the nominees:

SAMUEL GRICE, WASHOUGAL BOYS CROSS COUNTRY: Grice posted the fastest local time in the Varsity Orange race at the Lewis & Clark Invitational, placing 24th overall in 15:47.

ELI HUNTINGTON, CAMAS BOYS GOLF: Huntington won the 4A district tournament, shooting a 2-under 70 on the final round to win by 10 strokes.

JORDAN MOORE, SKYVIEW GIRLS SWIMMING: Moore won the 200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke in a meet against Battle Ground, Prairie and Hockinson.

RYLIE REEVES, COLUMBIA RIVER VOLLEYBALL: Reeves averaged 13 kills, 11 digs and two aces in two league wins for the Rapids.

AVERY SCHILLING, UNION GIRLS SOCCER: Schilling contributed three goals and an assist in two league wins for the Titans.
