An Amber Alert issued early Sunday morning in connection with a kidnapping was canceled after Vancouver police say the suspect vehicle was located.

Around 2:30 a.m., the police department requested help in locating a silver 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander with Washington license plate BUV0729. Police warned people not to approach the vehicle if it was spotted.

The department then reported around 5 a.m. that the vehicle had been found.

The investigation is ongoing, and no further information was immediately available.
