Nominees for the Week 2 Northwest Personal Training prep football player of the week

Voting continues through 7 p.m. Wednesday

Here are the nominees for the Northwest Personal Training Week 2 high school football player of the week.

Voting will continue until 7 p.m. Wednesday, with results announced in Thursday’s edition of The Columbian.

Winners of the player-of-the-week may not be nominated again during the regular season, and no player may be nominated in consecutive weeks.

PLEASE NOTE: For this week’s vote, only vote per email is permitted. While the poll will remain open, votes tabulated as of 7 p.m. Wednesday will be used to determine this winner.

Here are the nominees:

LEVI GILES, LA CENTER: Giles caught three passes for 61 yards and one TD, intercepted two passes and returned his second kickoff for a touchdown this season in the Wildcats’ win over Woodland.

JAYDON JONES, UNION: Jones rushed for 216 yards and three touchdowns in the Titans’ win over Mountain View.

HUNTER LETTEER, KELSO: The quarterback completed 7 of 7 passes for 139 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for another score in the Hilanders’ win over North Thurston.

KYLE NORTON, EVERGREEN: Norton rushed for 187 yards and two touchdowns in the Plainsmen’s win over Washougal.

TY SNIDER, RIDGEFIELD: Snider caught four passes for 120 yards, including a 92-yard touchdown play, and added an interception in the Spudders’ win over Castle Rock.
