BATTLE GROUND — Gardeners from north Clark County and the surrounding area held a COVID-19-safe seed swap before the start of the growing season at the North County Community Food Bank in Battle Ground.
A mix of 100 new and seasoned gardeners turned out Jan. 31 to swap seeds, cuttings, equipment and stories, according to Kristine White. The food bank received donations of $50 cash, 85 pounds of nonperishable goods and a bunch of seeds.
