Letter: Support Waters in 17th District

By Kris L. Greene, Vancouver

As a long-time business leader in the 17th District, I support Kevin Waters for state representative. I urge you to vote for him. Waters is experienced, formerly serving as Port of Skamania commissioner, county economic development manager and executive director of Skamania Economic Development.

He understands challenges businesses face, building his family’s business, Backwoods Brewing, to a 70-employee family success. His business development experience forms extensive connections to the rest of the 17th.

With a growing young family, Kevin has real-time involvement in schools and deep understanding of the urgent need to restore public safety.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
