Be a Santa to a Senior seeks donors to fulfill gifts requests for Vancouver’s seniors for the 14th year. Visit a local tree, choose an ornament and purchase a small gift for a senior from now until Dec. 19. Find trees at the Marshall and Firstenburg community centers, Northwest Health and Safety, Life Force Chiropractic, the Battle Ground Community Center, Home Instead Office, and Your Insurance Gal Agency. The city of Vancouver invites volunteers to join a garden cleanup from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Water Resources Education Center, 4600 S.E. Columbia Way. Tools will be provided, but bring garden gloves if you have them. Registration is required. Participants will receive a confirmation letter with details after registration.
