Camas’ Hallie Kempf wins the all-around title at the 4A district gymnastics meet

Camas sophomore Hallie Kempf won the bars, beam and floor on her way to taking the all-around title with a score of 36.725 at the 4A district gymnastics meet.

Kempf scored 9.35 on the bars, 8.95 on the beam and 9.475 on the floor exercise.

Camas’ Peyton Cody and Olivia Chou tied for first on the vault with scores of 9.0.

Cody placed second in the all-around at 35.8, followed by Skyview’s Anna Sugarman (34.8) and Chou (34.725).

Camas won the team title over Skyview 174.1-152.675.

Gymnasts now advance to the bi-district meet in Puyallup next week, competing for berths to state.
