The Clark County Commission on Aging will review how faith communities are working to connect older residents, families, friends and neighbors at its next meeting at 4:30 p.m. July 20.

The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the challenges of connecting older adults to resources, information and each other. These challenges existed before the pandemic and will continue into the future.

Meeting guests will include Rabbi Elizabeth Dunsker, Congregation Kol Ami; Dr. Fouad Bayomi, Islamic Society of Southwest Washington; Genise Dance, Mt. Olivet Baptist Church; Tim Dance, Mt. Olivet Baptist Church; and Pastor Ted Buck (retired), Columbia Presbyterian Church.

The July meeting will also include a brief presentation on the senior property tax exemption program.

Meetings are held in a hybrid format with both in-person and virtual participation options. Attend in the sixth-floor Hearing Room of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St., or join by phone or computer through information provided at: https://clark.wa.gov/community-planning/commission-aging-meetings.

Commission meetings are also carried on CVTV Channel 23/323 and online at www.cvtv.org.
