Clark County will begin construction on Kozy Kamp Neighborhood Park on Monday. The park is at 17410 N.E. 29th Ave. in the Fairgrounds Neighborhood.

Kozy Kamp Neighborhood Park will include a playground, multi-purpose sport court, paved and accessible loop trail, open lawn play area, and picnic tables and benches. Additional improvements will be made along the park boundary with Northeast 29th Avenue.

Advanced Excavating Specialists has been awarded the contract for the project, which is funded by real estate excise taxes collected whenever homes are sold in Clark County, and park impact fees collected when new residential property is developed.

Construction of the park is expected to be complete by late September.
