Pravina Blunk hit a game-winning single in the bottom of the 8th as Prairie softball beat Heritage 5-4 on Friday.

The 3A GSHL win came after the Falcons rallied in the seventh to tie the game.

Prairie took a 2-1 lead in the first, thanks to two walks, an Alysia Fraley RBI single and a Jade Hayslip sacrifice fly.

Heritage tied the game in the third on a solo home run by Makenzie Misner.

Hailey Dowell’s two-run single put the Timberwolves ahead 4-2 in the sixth.

But Prairie forced extra innings with two runs in the seventh. The first scored on an error after Rylee Wall’s bunt single. Wall then scored on a passed ball.
