CASCADE HIGHLANDS — Sarah Beacock of Vancouver was named Washington State Champion at the recent state-wide music competition sponsored by Washington State Music Educators Association. Beacock performed a multiple percussion piece.
She is the daughter of Russ and Heidi Beacock of Vancouver.
Beacock is a senior at Mountain View High School and will be attending University of Puget Sound in the fall where she received academic and music scholarships.
