One person was killed and three others were injured in a three-vehicle crash Saturday night on Northwest Lower River Road in west Vancouver.

Authorities have not yet released the victims’ identities. The Vancouver Police Department is still working on next of kin notifications, Vancouver police Sgt. Holly Musser said Sunday afternoon. The three people who were injured were taken to an area hospital, she said.

A Kia SUV, Acura sedan and Ford F-150 pickup with a camper on a trailer were heading west toward Vancouver Lake when the crash occurred, Musser said. Police responded at about 11:15 p.m. to the 6100 block of N.W. Lower River Road.

Details about the crash were unavailable Sunday; it remains under investigation. However, speed and impairment appear to be factors, Musser said.
