The Camas girls soccer team prevailed over Curtis in a shootout to win the District 3-4 championship on Thursday in Olympia.

After regulation and overtime finished scoreless, Camas won the penalty-kick shootout 4-3. Keely Wieczorek stopped the final shot to clinch the victory.

Camas (16-1-2) did not allow a goal in three bi-district tournament matches.

The Papermakers, No. 2 in the state RPI rankings, will learn their first-round opponent in the state playoffs this weekend.

TUMWATER 2, COLUMBIA RIVER 1 — The Thunderbirds scored late in regulation to win the district championship match on their home field.

Tumwater tied the match five minutes later. The winner came when Ava Jones scored off a rebound in stoppage time.
