Be a Santa to a Senior is back for its 14th year in Vancouver, with a goal of collecting gifts for more than 250 seniors in Vancouver, according to a press release.

Ornaments featuring the name and desired gift of a senior will be placed on trees at designated sites until Dec. 19. Interested participants can choose an ornament, purchase the gift and return the gift with the attached ornament to the original site.

“A simple gift can bring such joy to older adults who may not have loved ones to celebrate with,” Julie Williams, owner of the Vancouver Home Instead office, said in a press release. “Through Be a Santa to a Senior, we can help them feel the holiday spirit.”
