Letter: Remember Safe Stay vote

By Mark Monroe, Vancouver

In regard to Sallie Reavey’s letter “City council is derelict in duty” (Our Readers’ Views, Nov. 24): It should be noted that Vancouver City Council members Sarah Fox and Bart Hansen voted against the Safe Stay site. They were supportive of the Safe Stay program, just not in the downtown core.

I could not agree more with Ms. Reavey’s comment on remembering the mayor and her minions when election time comes around.
