Join thousands in honoring veterans from all service branches this autumn.

Groups interested in marching or riding in the 34th Annual Lough Legacy Veterans Parade, held at 11 a.m. on Nov. 5 at the Fort Vancouver National Site, can now submit applications to take part in the event. Hopeful participants have until Oct. 7 to apply.

Necessary forms can be accessed online at thehistorictrust.org or by calling the Historic Trust at 360-992-1804.

The celebration usually attracts more than 120 entrants who vary from local veterans organizations, high school marching bands, Reserve Officers’ Training Corps groups and various collector clubs.

Clark/Vancouver Television will broadcast the event live on cvtv.org.
