East Vancouver residents want more transparency on city’s plans for McGillivray Boulevard

Lack of sidewalks, speeding drivers make pedestrians, cyclists feel unsafe

Reckless drivers. Lack of sidewalks. Poor bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure.

These three issues summarize most of the 101 public comments on an interactive map of McGillivray Boulevard in east Vancouver created by the city.

“I have almost been hit by a car here while riding my bike,” one individual stated.
