The Clark County Council on Wednesday approved moving forward with a hearing on nearly $8 million in new requests for federal pandemic relief funds. In 2021, the county received nearly $95 million in federal relief funds as part of the $350 billion American Rescue Plan Act stimulus package.
On Wednesday, Finance Director Mark Gassaway updated the county council on how much has been spent, how much is left and what new requests will be coming up for approval.
