The Clark County Council will hold a work session beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday to review the vacant buildable lands model. The model is used by the county to identify lands available within the urban growth area for commercial, industrial and residential development.

The work session is being held as part of the county’s ongoing efforts to update the comprehensive growth management plan, which is due to the state by June 30, 2025.

The council will meet with Geographic Information Services staff in the sixth-floor meeting room at the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St., in Vancouver. The public can attend in person or join online through the WebEx platform.

While the work session is open to the public, no public comment will be accepted during the meeting.

Meeting materials can be found at https://clark.wa.gov/community-planning/2025-update-meeting-and-event-information.
