Letter: Democrats can’t be trusted

Is this so-called president the phoniest person like a three-dollar bill? Almost everything out of his mumbling, blundering mouth is a lie. Sometimes I think he is going to go to sleep reading the teleprompter.

And he goes to the “border” and gets off Air Force One in a suit and dress shoes. Well, we sure know he is not going to where the real problem is. He walked around viewing a few staged exhibits for the photo op and flies away. And of course, the Democrat mayor had cleaned up the streets of illegal immigrants before his arrival.

Now Democrats and writers of this paper are claiming that Republicans are going to do away with Social Security and Medicare. Another Democrat big lie. The Republicans are trying to make sure that both programs continue to be solvent after 2033 as both programs are projected to run out of money by 2033. Oh, and by the way, the 20 members of Congress that initially resisted voting for Kevin McCarthy as speaker were only cleaning up the Pelosi swamp.
