With a comforting hand, warm smiles and eye contact, Benjamin Nikolaychuk, Brooke Killinger and Whitney Konrady explained to a resident at The Hampton at Salmon Creek Memory Care Community that they were going to help her stand up and take a few steps.

They slipped a sheet behind the resident’s back and gently guided her out of the chair.
