Wednesday’s round-of-12 games

No. 10 Camas (17-7) vs. No. 7 Tahoma (19-5)

4A boys loser-out game

10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Tacoma Dome

Winner will play No. 1 Curtis (24-3) at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in quarterfinals

Camas, the 4A GSHL champion, reached the state round-of-12 by rallying to beat No. 15 West Valley-Yakima last weekend. Tahoma, runner-up to Federal Way in the North Puget Sound League, fell to Mount Si 80-45 in last weekend’s opening round.

No. 9 Union (18-6) vs. No. 8 Richland (21-4)

4A boys loser-out game

2 p.m. Wednesday, at Tacoma Dome

Winner will play No. 2 Mount Si (23-2) at 2 p.m. Thursday in quarterfinals

Union, the 4A GSHL runner-up, beat Sumner in the state opening round, the Titans’ 12th consecutive win. Richland, the Mid-Columbia Conference champion, lost 64-55 to top-seeded Curtis last weekend.

No. 8 R.A. Long (20-4) vs. No. 9 West Valley-Spokane (19-4)

2A boys loser-out game

2 p.m. Wednesday, at Yakima SunDome

Winner will play No. 7 Prosser (18-4) at 2 p.m. Thursday in quarterfinals

R.A. Long, the 2A GSHL runner-up, fell to top-seeded Pullman 67-55 in the opening round of state. West Valley, runner-up to Pullman in the 2A Greater Spokane League, advanced to the round-of-12 by beating Clover Park 64-47.

No. 14 Seton Catholic (17-7) vs. No. 6 Toppenish (18-5)

1A boys loser-out game

3:45 p.m. Wednesday, at Yakima SunDome

Winner will play No. 4 Freeman (20-2) at 3:45 p.m. Thursday in quarterfinals

Seton Catholic, which tied for second in the Trico League, won its fourth straight loser-out game in beating Seattle Christian 62-53 in OT in the state opening round. Toppenish, the runner-up in the South Central Athletic Conference West Division behind No. 2 Zillah, lost to No. 3 Annie Wright 74-55 last weekend.

No. 12 King’s Way Christian (16-8) vs. No. 5 King’s (17-5)

1A boys loser-out game

7:15 p.m. Wednesday, at Yakima SunDome

Winner will play No. 3 Annie Wright (22-1) at 7:15 p.m. Thursday in quarterfinals

King’s Way Christian, the Trico League champion, won its seventh straight by eliminating La Salle 59-44 in the opening round of state. King’s, the Emerald Sound Conference Chinook Division co-champion, fell to No. 4 Freeman 74-72 in the opening round.

Thursday’s quarterfinal games

No. 2 Camas (22-3) vs. No. 1 Woodinville (24-2) or No. 9 Richland (19-5)

4A girls quarterfinal

9 p.m. Wednesday, at Tacoma Dome

Camas, the 4A GSHL champion, is 20-0 this season against teams from Washington after beating Kamiakin 52-48 in the opening round. Woodinville lost to No. 8 Emerald Ridge 67-58 last weekend, while Richland beat Olympia 49-39.

No. 4 Mark Morris (23-2) vs. No. 11 Tumwater (19-5) or No. 3 Renton (23-2)

2A boys quarterfinal

9 p.m. Wednesday, at Tacoma Dome

Mark Morris, the 2A GSHL champion, beat Sehome 82-74 in the opening round. Tumwater beat Foss 63-38, while Renton lost to Lynden 70-52.
