Interlochen Arts Academy grad wins Scholastic Art and Writing Awards Gold Medal

VANCOUVER — High school senior Elizabeth Keller of Vancouver, a graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy (which she attended on a full tuition scholarship), is the winner of the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards Gold Medal for her senior writing portfolio.

This is the highest national award a graduating high school senior can receive from Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Only 16 seniors nationwide are selected.

This year is also Scholastic’s centennial anniversary.

Keller is also a YoungArts finalist in writing/novel and was a semifinalist for U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts.
