Clark County Councilor Michelle Belkot will host a town hall meeting for District 2 residents at 6:30 p.m. today at The Gathering Place church, 2500 N.E. 78th St., in Vancouver.

Joining Belkot will be Fire Commissioner Brad Lothspeich and Fire Chief Kristan Maurer from Clark County Fire District 6, who will discuss issues related to the district and take questions from residents.

Belkot campaigned on the need for better representation for her district’s residents and promised to regularly hold in-person meetings. Her first town hall meeting was held in March with Clark County Sheriff John Horch also participating.
