Camas North Shore Development fuels strong feelings

City defends vision for Lacamas Lake area as some residents raise concerns about environment, design, more

CAMAS — Camas resident Randal Friedman has two words to sum up the 990-acre North Shore development plan approved by the city council in November: “Missed opportunity.”

Friedman, who is now running for mayor, was just one of dozens of residents to attend various planning commission and city council meetings in late 2022.
