Clark County Community Planning will host informational public meetings at 1:30 and 2:45 p.m. March 28 on the county’s efforts to update the Comprehensive Growth Management Plan.

The first meeting will discuss the county’s 20-year population forecast and will be led by staff from the Office of Financial Management. The second meeting will focus on housing requirements and will be led by staff from the Department of Commerce.

Under House Bill 1220, local governments are required to plan for and accommodate housing affordable to all income levels and examine racially disparate impacts, displacement and exclusion in housing policies and regulations.

Both meetings will be held virtually via WebEx. For information on how to join the meetings, go to https://clark.wa.gov/community-planning/2025-update-meeting-and-event-information or watch live on CVTV channel 23. Recordings of the meetings will be posted the next day.

For more information, go to the project page at https://clark.wa.gov/community-planning/2025-update.
