Heritage High School to host baseball tournament

12-team, three-bracket event set for March 31, April 1

Heritage High School is taking advantage of its new baseball/softball complex to host an inaugural Heritage High School Baseball Tournament on March 31 and April 1.

The 12-team event will be broken into three four-team brackets, with each team playing two games each.

The purple bracket, with games being played at 1 p.m. March 31 will feature Hockinson vs. Sehome of Bellingham and Shelton vs. Hermiston, Ore. Friday’s winners and losers will play at 10 a.m. on April 1.

The silver bracket will have games at 4 p.m. March 31 — Battle Ground vs. Tumwater and Kelso vs. Bonney Lake. The event concludes with 1 p.m. games on April 1.

The black bracket will have games at 7 p.m. March 31 — La Center vs. Heritage and Squalicum of Bellingham vs. Black Hills of Tumwater. Play concludes with games at 4 p.m. on April 1.
