Vancouver Police Department vacancies impact response to 911 calls

One of the biggest effects of the vacancies has been longer response times to 911 calls, Vancouver Police Chief Jeff Mori said.

“We’re going to all the calls that we used to go to, it just might take us a little bit longer to get to some of those lower priority calls,” Mori said.
