Update: Zachary Childers has been found safe.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help finding a man who’s been missing since Sunday morning in the Orchards area. Deputies say the man is diagnosed with schizophrenia and autism.

Zachary Childers, 38, was last seen at the Big Lots at Northeast 76th Street and 117th Avenue. He has also frequented the Vancouver Mall area, according to the sheriff’s office.

He is described as 225 pounds, with a stocky build, black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a camo jacket, light blue t-shirt, gray sweatpants and black slip-on shoes.

Deputies said Childers could be combative if he has not taken his medication or eaten. He does not have his wallet or money, the sheriff’s office said.

Anyone who sees him is asked to call 311 or if outside of Clark County call 360-696-4461.
