Non-league football: Camas 49, Evergreen 21

Chase McGee caught touchdown passes of 50 and 56 yards as Camas scored 35 points in the first quarter to roll past Evergreen 49-21.

Camas totaled 410 yards of offense in the first half — 233 passing and 177 rushing — as the Papermakers built a 49-7 halftime lead. The Papermaker defense held Evergreen to 28 yards of offense in the first half.

Jake Davidson completed 11 of 13 passes for 203 yards and three touchdowns, all three coming on Camas’ first three possessions.

Camas (5-1) will take a five-game winning streak into its 4A Greater St. Helens League opener next Friday against Skyview.
